Well, yesterday I took Judah to his 1 year appointment. The doctor said that he is right on track. Actually, she asked if they could clone him. We thought that was a nice compliment! He weighs 26lb, 3oz, so he is in the 90% for weight. He is 30.5 inches tall so, he is in the 75% for height. So, he is a healthy boy! I'm surprised that his weight percentage is higher than his height because he isn't chunky at all! He looks so lean to me, sometimes I wonder if he should have more baby fat on his bones.
Anyway. Today has just been one of those days. It really hasn't been a bad day at all but, I just feel so inexperienced in so many ways. I keep on thinking that I feel like a rookie. I'm not quite sure how to handle so many different little situations. I wish I had more patience. I wish I wasn't such a perfectionist. I wish I was wiser. But, unfortunately, we never really "arrive". There will always be more to learn and once I have these things figured out, they'll be new situations where I'll need to ask God for wisdom.
On a lighter note, Judah got a wagon from his Grandma & Grandpa Strand for his Birthday and he just loves it. We are going to have lots of fun with this wagon. The weather has been so wonderful so, yesterday we took it out. I put Judah in it with a couple pillows (in case he fell backward) and we went up and down our road a couple times. He just smiled the whole time.
Well, I've been sitting here nibbling on Trader Joe's 72% dark chocolate and it's delicious. You can't really over-eat it because it's so dark and bitter. Good night chocolate, good night blogging, good night busy day!
