One of my favorite blogs, MckMama always does a fun little thing on Mondays called "Not Me Monday". It's a chance to share some of your more embarrassing moments, silly things or moments you'd usually rather not share. Today, I decided to join in the fun.
Last night I did the responsible thing and set my alarm to get up at 7am. I had a midwife appointment this morning and I needed to leave the house at 9. It wasn't me that turned my alarm off this morning and didn't get up until 8:10. It wasn't me that was brushing my teeth and out of the blue started throwing up and it most certainly wasn't me that thought the toilet lid was open but indeed, it was closed. Oh yes, it wasn't me that threw up ALL over my bathroom right when I was supposed to be walking out the door.
I dropped Judah off at Sally's and headed to see the midwife. It wasn't me that had a great visit with the same wonderful lady that delivered Judah and it wasn't me that was so happy to of gained only the recommended amount of weight. Last pregnancy, it wasn't me that gained about double the normal amount at each appointment. To celebrate, it wasn't me that went to Starbucks on the way home and got a regular Grande White Chocolate Mocha AND a Molasses cookie. During December they didn't even have molasses cookies and then all of a sudden in April, they do??!! Oh happy day! It wasn't me that was very excited about this.
It hasn't been me that has an extra spring in her step all afternoon from the coffee and sugar. It wasn't me that quickly fed my sweet son his lunch and put him down for his nap. It wasn't me that did everything else on my list first before attacking the awful mess in the bathroom. Now, it isn't me that is contemplating whether or not it would be better to have a new rule that toilet lids should be left open instead of closed? Maybe until at least until the morning sickness ends? :)
