Coloring with Judah and curtains for the baby girl

Today we stayed home all day and got lots of fun things done. In the morning, Judah and I did chores and also had some fun coloring and playing with stickers.
I love this picture of his bare tummy with the stickers on it. This little boy has my heart!!!Later in the day, Sally and Noah came over. Sally brought her sewing machine and we made a curtain for the new baby's room. She did most of the sewing, since I really don't know how to sew and I love how the curtain turned out. When I went and bought the fabric, I took part of the crib set with me so, the color matches perfectly. We also sewed blackout on the back of the curtain to keep the light out and it works amazingly well.

Some other pictures of the baby's room:

This sign was in my Grandma's bedroom. She loved clothes!

  1. Oooh, I LOVE the baby girl's room with the ladybug theme! It's so cute! Great job on the curtain, Sally. Wow!
Judah is so funny putting the stickers on himself. :) I totally agree with both of you: The more art and craft supplies, the better! :)
Looks like you all had a wonderful day!

  2. I love the room! You have done such a great job. I never did up the kids rooms when they were first born. Your crib set is just precious! Sally did a great job on the curtains. I have the same color in the playroom (which used to be Gracie's room), but there isn't the blackout fabric on them. You are one smart mom to remember that!

  3. Wow what in the world is my hair doing? scary! But I am really glad you got pics of our project, it came out so well! Can't wait to see my little niece in her adorable room :)

  4. What a sweet baby girl room. Great job
