This weekend was so fun and busy. Saturday morning we headed out to meet up with some other MOPS moms and kids and walk in the parade. Our town has a small little parade that is actually really fun to watch! Judah did great in his stroller the whole time. He probably ate way too many crackers but, he was super content for the long ride.
It was fun to walk past so many familiar faces and let other families know about MOPS. Next year he'll be at the age where he'd enjoy watching the parade so, we'll have to decide if we want to be in it again or just watch. It hasn't rained in so long but, it rained the entire time we were in the parade. Oh well, it was still really fun!
Today, we went to church and then headed to our little country fair. Actually, compared to where I grew up, this fair is NOT that little! For as long as I can remember, one of the best parts of the summer is going to the fair. When I was little, my family would enter things from the garden in the fair and it was always so exciting to win ribbons.
Last year we took Judah and he liked looking at the animals but, he wasn't really that interested. This year was so much more fun. He loved all the animals, he loved watching the people on the rides, he loved the music and he loved the fair food. Who wouldn't like fair food? Not healthy but, delicious. We spent the afternoon there and it was a blast.
Now, the weekend is almost over. I'm ready to watch "The Next Food Network Star" with my love and get some good sleep!
