These Booties

Back when Judah was just a baby, when the thought of being pregnant again wasn't in my mind, when Paisley was known just to God, I picked up these booties. They were at a MOPS clothing exchange and I thought they were just too cute to pass up. I brought them home and stuck them in the bottom drawer of Judah's dresser just in case we ever had a baby girl.

Today, my sweet girl wears these booties. It's amazing to think that I picked them up when I didn't even know if we'd ever have a daughter or if we did, what our daughter would be like. To me they look like they were hand made. I wonder who made them and what little girl they had in mind when they did the stitching. Also, because they are used, I wonder what little girl wore them before Paisley and what she is like.

  1. This is such a special story. Some dear lady made these for a special person in her life, not knowing that they would be a blessing for you also. They are beautiful like the Christmas hat and sweater Paisley Rae received from Aunt Trudy! They look tailor made for Paisley Rae, and they were because God knew they would eventually be on her little feet.
    Love, Mom

Thank you for your comments. I read every single one of them and they always make me smile.
