Amazing Smoothies

I was reading a super cute blog the other day, called Pure Mod Life, and she was talking about some yummy smoothies that she makes. I used to make healthy smoothies pretty often in my pre-mom days and for some unknown reason I stopped. Well, her post inspired me and Judah and I have had amazing smoothies the last two days for our afternoon snack.

Yesterday's Smoothie was:
1 Avocado
1 Banana
A big handful of frozen Trader Joe's Strawberries
100% Orange Juice
Organic Coconut Milk

I just blended it all up together and it was amazing! You really can't taste the avocado in there but, it adds great nutrients and texture.

Today's Smoothie:
1 Banana
A big handful of frozen Trader Joe's Strawberries
1 Tomato
100% Orange Juice
Organic Coconut Milk

So easy, so healthy and so delicious. Both today and yesterday, Judah has drank a full glass and today he asked for more.

  2. Hi Angela! I'm a new reader! You have adorable kids! I've been trying to lose weight so we've been drinking a lot of smoothies around here too. We've been adding frozen spinach for a serving of veggies, I've never heard of adding avocado! Interesting!!! Nice to "meet" you!
