The other night I was sitting fooling around on my laptop and I came across a blog post that I had written when Judah was just 13 months old. The post was nothing special, it was just a review of our day, what we ate for lunch, what we did etc. Reading it made me so happy and so thankful that I write this stuff down. When funny or special moments happen with our children, it's easy to think that we'll always remember that but, will we? Some moments I'm sure we'll remember but, a lot of everyday normal stuff is unfortunately forgotten.
My #1 reason for blogging is to document daily life with my babies.
So, here is a little bit about our day.
Paisley woke up at 6:50am. Half asleep, I went into her room and nursed her. After she was done eating, I sat in the rocking chair with her for a few minutes and visited with her. She came out into the kitchen with me while I made eggs for breakfast and had my coffee.
Judah woke up about 8am. Paisley and I went and got Judah, changed him into his clothes and then he had scrambled eggs for breakfast while I quickly got ready. I didn't get a shower this morning but, that's ok. Judah took forever to eat his eggs and it annoyed me more than it should have. After he finally finished, I packed them up and we went and visited my sister and her boys. For the most part, Judah and Noah had fun playing. Of course they always want what the other person is playing with but, it's ok. They are 2, it's normal and they love each other. Sally made them PB&J sandwiches for lunch and they also had yogurt and banana. Sally and I had homemade lentil soup for lunch and it was fantastic.
We came home for naptime. I put Judah down, feed Paisley and put her down to nap. I put away the laundry, cleaned up the house, took down the decorations for the party and then checked my email.
Now I'm drinking my afternoon cup of coffee and I need to go figure out what we're having for dinner.
