After Paisley was in bed, I headed out to the garage and opened up the can of paint that I used when I painted her shelf. Thankfully, the paint was still good and not dried up! I guess I sealed the can tight enough.
I painted the cork board.

I painted some plain old thumb tacks to help hold the ribbon in place:
I cut the ribbon that was used on my diaper cake at the shower (thanks Nathalie!!!) and glued it down with a hot glue gun. Then I used the end of a pair of scissors to push the edge of the ribbon under the wooden boarder of the cork board. I used the painted push pins to fasten it down extra well on the ends, plus it's just cute. All done!
I put everything back on it and I think it still looks pretty cute. I love having a place in her room where I can keep special cards, pictures and accessories. So fun!
