Baby Face

Over a month ago, we got a new camera. I've had every intention of reading the entire owners manual and learning how to use all the manual settings but, I haven't gotten around to it yet. The Pioneer Woman has written some great tutorials on aperture. She writes in a simple way that is easy for me to understand and her camera lingo isn't overwhelming. So, thanks to her, I've learned a bit about aperture. Hey, it's a start right?

It's funny to think about how many pictures I took before we had kids and compare that to how many pictures I take now. One of the things that I love about blogging is that it encourages me to take pictures on a daily basis.

Today I was feeding Paisley a little snack in the highchair and I decided to snap a few pictures of her beautiful face. The faces of my children are one of my favorite things to photograph. Their beautiful faces are always changing and I love to capture their unique expressions.

  1. Pretty girl!

I'm going to have to check out some of those tutorials you mentioned. I've had our great camera since Daniel was about six months old (that makes six years) and I still haven't made it through the manual! I don't think I cracked it open after the first day when I discovered the AUTO button :)

  2. I'm with Cami - I like the "hands on" approach of snapping pictures left and right and pushing all the buttons until I get one I like - no owners manual needed ;)

Good for you for actually reading it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE the photos :) Adore Paisly's beautiful little face

When you learn how to use ALL THE FEATURES on your camera, I will buy one just like yours and you can teach me :):):):)
