Coffee with my mentor, new Paisley pictures and Zucchini Apple Bread

Today the mentor that's going to be at my MOPS table this year came over and we spent some time together. It was so wonderful to get to know her better and she even brought me coffee. How sweet is that? She is a wonderful lady and I feel like we are going to be a great team for our table this year. MOPS is coming up so soon. I'm so excited to get to know all the ladies better and hopefully meet some new ones as well. Also, Judah loved MOPS last year and I think he'll even enjoy it more this year. Last year was my first year being a table leader and it was kind of an "off" year for me. I already have so much faith that this year is going to be better.

After she left, my mom came over and had a little visit with us. She just got back from a week long trip to where I grew up. She had a great time and she had some pictures to show me. We had lunch together and it was cracking me up to see how happy Judah was to see my mom and he was talking to her so much. He still has some of his candy from the parade and he was trying to get me to give "him and Grandma" more candy. Very smart boy he is!

This afternoon I took a few pictures of Paisley. She no longer has funny teeth because the middle ones are growing in. I think I'm going to miss her cute and funny teeth!

I was trying to take a picture of the two of us together and she kept on leaning into my face. She is the most loving little girl and she's pretty sassy also.
Julie gave us some zucchini from their garden and my Dad gave us some apples that he picked recently so, I made some zucchini/apple bread this afternoon. Judah and Paisley kept on wanting more so, I'll say it was a success. Maybe I'll blog the recipe later this week. To be honest, I'm too tired right now and my bed is sounding really nice.

  1. So glad you and L got together! I think you two are going to love being partnered up!

That zucchini apple bread looks so good. Please blog the recipe! I have a monster size zucchini I need to use. I used part of it to make chocolate zucchini bread earlier this week, but still have lots left.
