Grandma Visits, Lowes Workshop & Fun Birthday Party

A few days ago, my Dad invited my sister, myself and our families over for dinner. It was an extra treat when we  found out, at the last minute, that my Grandma was going to be able to join us. She lives about 4 hours away and we see her very rarely. It was great for her to be able to spend some time with her great grand kids!
This picture totally cracks me up because you can see how Noah's feet are kicking away, the boys are being crazy and Grandma's face looks so surprised.
She did raise 4 boys though and I love how she's patting his crazy feet and smiling in this one.
This morning Jeremiah took Judah to a workshop at Lowes. Each child that was there got to build their own police car and they even got an apron and some safety goggles. Judah pronounces them "gobbles". I try so hard not to laugh but, that's nearly impossible. They had a total blast and Judah loves his new police car.

After lunch and naps, we all went and celebrated our friend Tannon's 3rd Birthday! It was a Thomas the Train themed party and his mommy did an amazing job planning every single detail. The weather was perfect and the kids had a great time playing outside. The bubble machine was a hit!

Tannon's cake looked awesome. Good job, Nathalie!
The sweet birthday boy and his momma.

Judah was pretty much obsessed with this tractor for the entire party, which caused a few meltdowns when he wasn't able to ride it. Later in the party, his attitude got better and he had a great time pushing Isaac around for awhile. I always think Judah is looking so old but, next to this big 5 year old, Judah still looks like a baby. It puts things in perspective!
Tomorrow morning my Dad is bringing my Grandma over to our house for a little visit. She hasn't been here before so, it'll be fun to show her where we live. I made zucchini bread for us to have with coffee. Nice and simple, just how I like it.
Thanks Nathalie and Tannon for letting us celebrate with you today!

  1. i love the bubble pictures, and judah is SO adorable with the apron and hard hat. it reminds me of a hard hat isaac used to wear when he was his age.

  2. Aw, it's so nice that you were able to spend time with your grandmother. Great pics, by the way. :)

Thank you for your comments. I read every single one of them and they always make me smile.
