Visit to Grandpa's Garden and Random Act of Kindness Day #14

Today has gone by super fast. This morning my sister and I loaded into my mini-van with our 4 children in tow. Changing out car seats is a hassle (it took us 25 minutes!!) but, them riding with us up to my Dad's house was worth it. My Dad has an awesome garden, that he loves us to come raid. The boys had a super great time running around, eating fresh veggies with the dirt still on and then sitting outside and having a sandwich with Grandpa. Seeing how good my Dad is with them makes me so happy. I'm sure they made some good memories at Grandpa's house today.

Me, picking flowers with my happy baby on my back. It doesn't get much better than this!!!

My sister and I both came home with a box of flowers and also a box of veggies.

The boys made a "salad" with dirt, grass and misc. things they grabbed from the garden.

This pretend salad was apparently very fun and exciting!

This afternoon, I spent a good amount of time washing the veggies, blanching the green beans and putting some of the veggies into the freezer. I love having a fridge full or fresh produce, straight from my Dad's garden.

For today's Random Act of Kindness, I took some veggies and flowers from the garden over to one of our neighbors. It defiantly took me out of my comfort zone because we don't know them well at all but, I want to get to know them better so, hopefully this was a step in the right direction.

Now my bed is calling me. It's going to be a fun and busy weekend, planting bulbs and getting ready for Paisley's party. Good night!

P.S. Don't forget to enter the PIZZA giveaway!
