Our Sunday in Pictures

Here's our Sunday in pictures (with a few words).
The kids had their Christmas program at church this morning. Everyone did awesome!

After church it was lunch, naps for Judah and Paisley, Sunday paper time for me and laundry.

We found a bench for our laundry room on Craigslist and I love it. $20 for this super sturdy hard wood bench. I'm so glad I stumbled across this one.

We went grocery shopping as a family and to Petco to get Rosie a doggy bed for Christmas.
 Present wrapping.
Very few things have reminded more that I am the mother of a daughter, than swaddling this pink baby in pink wrapping paper. Wrapping the kids presents and then writing "We love you! Love, Mommy and Daddy", sure sets me into the reality of this most-important job that I have, called "Motherhood".
No-bake Rocky Road cookies were made for a gift. I'll be blogging the recipe later in the week.
One week from today, it'll be the end of Christmas Day. I hope anyone that reads this has a special week preparing for Christmas. Try to not get too wrapped up (no pun intended) with the busyness of the season. Instead, try to enjoy the last minute preparations that need to be done.

Oh, holy night, the stars are brightly shiningIt is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error, pining
Till He appeared and the soul felt it's worth

A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn'
Fall on your knees, oh, hear the Angels' voices
Oh, night divine, oh, night when Christ was born
