Lemon Semifreddo {in a Jar!}

Recently I had the super fun opportunity to throw one of my friends a baby shower. Planning a party is always really fun but, I think that planning a baby shower is pretty much the most exciting type of party to throw. Like seriously, what is more exciting than a sweet momma, with a new baby on the way?

Lemon Semifreddo is one of the treats that I made for the shower. I was introduced to this sweet, lemony, frozen mousse by my sister awhile back. While I was planning the shower, this half frozen treat popped into my head and because it has a beautiful light yellow color, I decided that it should be served in a baby food jar, at the shower. Really, most things served in a jar are super cute and when you put a unique dessert in a baby food jar, for a baby shower, it just works!

I found the recipe for the Lemon Semifreddo HERE. Before you make the semifreddo, you need to prep your jars by washing them well, drying them and then spraying the inside of the jar with a non-stick cooking spray.
Next, you'll sprinkle the slivered almonds into the bottom of the jar so, that it looks like this when it's done.
Make the Lemon Semifreddo according the the recipe, found HERE. When it's all done, carefully spoon it into the jars and then wipe the rims clean.

Put the jars in the freezer and after the semifreddo has frozen, tie a ribbon around the rim of the jar.
Keep the jars in the freezer until you are ready to serve them.
