Snow Geese at Sunset

This week, I've had a lot of evenings home alone with the kids. The other night, instead of doing the normal evening routine, the kids and I hopped into the car and we just drove. It was a beautiful, sunny evening and a change of scenery was what we all needed. We drove through the local farm land because I wanted to see if the daffodils are in bloom. Turns out, the fields of daffodils are super close to blooming but, there isn't any yellow to see .....yet.
Instead of seeing fields of yellow, we saw quite a few fields filled with Snow Geese.
The farm roads had very little traffic so, we were able to pull over, roll the windows down and listen to the geese. Judah was actually totally into it and we watched them "eat bugs!".
While we were watching the geese, we saw the sun set over the mountains.
Rosie the dog even loved our little adventure.
I'm so thankful for where we live. I love that we can hop in the car, drive just a short distance and then see these beautiful things. We are blessed!

Tomorrow I plan on sharing two different posts for Crafty Thursday. First, I'll be sharing the recipe and How-To for Lemon Semifreddo (in a baby food jar!)....and secondly, I'll be posting about the Spring Wreath that I whipped up tonight.

Today I got a very exciting package delivered. I'm going to be doing a review and giveaway that I'm super excited about for Seventh Generation. The review and giveaway will be posted later in the month but, I just wanted to give you all a heads up. This is by far the most exciting review and giveaway that I've been able to participate in. You won't want to miss it!

I'm off to edit pictures of Judah playing with a lady bug (those moments matter and I love that my boy loves bugs!) and of the spring wreath that I made tonight. Good night!
