This morning when I looked at the weather forecast, I actually did a happy dance, right here in my chair. We are so overdue for a long stretch of sunny days. I know my garden is going to go crazy and I'm so looking forward to spending sometime outside with my family!
In between sandy loads of laundry from our vacation and trying to get back into our normal routine, I whipped up some Pineapple Orange Popsicles. This recipe is definitely not fancy but, they turned out yummy and they're pretty healthy so, I'm going to share it with you. If you're in need of some new Popsicle inspiration...here you go!
Pineapple Orange Popsicles
•1 cup pineapple chunks
•1 container of yogurt (any flavor would work)
•1 cup 100% orange juice
•1 baby orange
Put all ingredients into a blender, blend well and then freeze. Easy!
One thing I love about blogging is being able to connect with people that I wouldn't have normally "meet". Today I want to share with you this adorable handmade clutch that was made just for me! The good news is that YOU get to win one and you get to pick the fabric and ruffle color of YOUR choice!!!
This clutch came in the mail just a few days ago and honestly, it was love at first sight. I love that it was handcrafted by a fellow mother (of 3 young children!) that it's bright and happy and I love how well it's made.
Jaime is a stay at home mother of 3 precious miracles. Her oldest, Annabelle just turned 3 and she is a ball of energy. She is really into crafting with her mommy so, they do lots of projects together while the twins take naps. The babies are 8 months old and Jaime says that they're starting to get into everything!
Jaime "It's so fun to watch them learn at this stage, and their big sister is really enjoying getting to play with them."
Jaime has been sewing since she was a little girl. It started with simple blankets and pillows for Barbies, and then her Mom taught her how to quilt. For her 18th birthday she got my very own sewing machine from her Mom, used that for 10 years, and just got a really nice one of her own this past year when she got into sewing purses and handbags. She designs each of the purses herself, and uses family and friends to help test them out.
Isn't she talented? I think she's amazing, and I love the fact that she's making all of those wonderful things while juggling life with her little ones!
Jaime has offered to sew one of my readers a clutch of their very own. You get to choose the fabric and the color of the ruffle!
