Salted S'mores Pops

Did you know that today is National S'more Day? Well, neither did I until a few hours ago. Turns out, National S'more Day is always August 10th....that's kind of fun, isn't it? To me, it sounds like a great excuse to have a S'more party!

This year, it was too late for us to plan a S'mores party so instead, I decided to make a small batch of Salted S'more Pops for my family. These pops were super speedy to make and the small batch of 6 that I made, is just perfect for my little family.

If you ever wanted to make these for a larger group, simply adjust the recipe below. I think they would be so cute for any summer party, like a birthday, a wedding or even a baby shower.

Basically, all you do is stick marshmallows onto candy sticks.
Next, crush up a few graham crackers and add a big sprinkle of salt.
Melt a chocolate bar in a glass in the microwave. Dip the marshmallows into the chocolate and then cover them with the graham cracker/salt mixture.

Place them in the freezer to quickly set up. I always use my food dehydrator trays when I make any sort of treat on a stick but, I know a lot of people use foam blocks.
Salted S'mores Pops!!!! These are SO good.

A touch of salt, chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker goodness. Happy National S'mores Day!
