A Few of my Favorite Blogs and a Great Way to Build YOUR Brand

It was a little over 3 years ago that I started blogging and I'm so glad that I did. When I first started writing, no one read my blog. Seriously, I didn't even tell anyone about my blog because, for some reason, I found it a little embarrassing. I figured that since I wrote only about my journey as a new stay at home mommy, it wouldn't interest anyone anyway.
{Me, a stay at home mommy, who's passionate about documenting our journey.}

A few years have gone by and writing has become a huge creative outlet for me. Not only does it help me document our days and our memories but, I love the way that it helps me connect with other women. I believe that everyone has a voice and a story to share. Blogging can be a great way to share your life and share what makes you smile, what makes your heart ache and what inspires you.
{My little ones, who inspire me, exhaust me and show me just how full life can be.}

Today I thought I'd share a few of my favorite blogs with you. Choosing which blogs to spotlight has been a difficult choice. There are quite a few that I read on a regular basis and although they are all unique and written with their own voice, one thing rings true about all of them: Each one is written by a mom, who seeks to live her life in the fullest and most intentional way possible. She writes from her heart and shares the good and the ugly. She inspires without making you feel inadequate and she writes to document life and connect.

Here are just a few of my favorites
Kelly's Korner is written by Kelly, the stay at home mom of two little girls. Her blog is what inspired me to start blogging in the first place. She showed me that you don't have to be anyone famous or have an unusual life to write a blog. You can be a stay at home mom, document your journey and use your blog, almost like you would use a scrapbook. Kelly talks openly about her faith, mothering and she openly shares their journey.

Enjoying the Small Things  is written by Kelley Hampton, award winning author of "Bloom". When I purchased her book off of Amazon, I had no idea that she was also a blogger. It was somewhere in the first or second chapter of her book that she shared the sweet story of why she started her blog. I cried through most of her book and totally fell in love. She writes from her heart and she reminds us in each post that even real life can be so beautiful.

The Pioneer Woman is a blog that I'm sure all of you have heard of. She truly is one of The Pioneer's of blogging. She's great at writing, her photography rocks and all of her recipes are delicious. Oh, and did I mention that she's hilarious??? It doesn't get much better than a woman that can write well, make me laugh and then cook amazing food. So, that's why I love her and that's why I keep on coming back for more.

For me, this blog was started as a way to simply document our days and recently I've had the opportunity to be part of a few blogging opportunities that I love. Working with Blog Frog and being part of their Influencer Marketing group has been a great fit for me. Not only have I been able write about products that I love but, I've also been paid to blog and I'm willing to honestly share about that. Blog Frog has great blogger communities that are there to support you with word-of-mouth marketing.
