31 Days, Day 25: When I'm with just one

{Hay rides with my girl}
{Hugging every sign at the pumpkin patch}
{These goats were made for kissing}

Right now, when I go out with just one of them, it seems so easy, so simple. It makes me remember what being a Mom of only one was like. It wasn't very hard but, I didn't realize how easy I had it at the time. See, you can imagine what it's like to have more children but, you never really know until you're there.

At ages 2 and 3, I feel like I'm busier than I've even been in my life and the funny thing is that in a few months, I'll have a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a new baby. At that point, I'll probably look back at these days and realize how simple it was to only have two kids.

  2. Haha, life with just one is so easy! :) We love our one on one and two on two dates too! I do always feel naked without all of my kids though.

  3. Totally! I remember the exact same thing when I had two and Mom had one of them. I thought, wow, this is SOOOOO easy by comparison. And yep, when #3 arrives, you are going to feel the same way about two. You'll think about how MUCH those older two can do in contrast too! And it's so wonderful to see how God grows us as moms to be able to HANDLE more than we previously had been able to handle. I think THAT was the greatest aha moment when #3 showed up. God grows US with those littles. Love this post!
