Summer Livin'

I make sandwiches. We gather towels. We put on swim suits and I slather on sunscreen. I feed the baby. Then I change her (and myself), after she wets through on both of us. I take kids to the bathroom one last time and then fill sippy cups. We take the dog out and load the car. After over and hour, we leave the house.
It's SO worth it.
We've had some of the best times lately. Swim lessons, mornings at the beach with friends, soaking up every little bit of summer and loving every second of it. I haul bags, kids, and life jackets down  the trail to the beach, balanced perfectly, so I don't fall over with the load. We play, play and play and when we get home, I feel like I could burst with happiness.
It was so worth it. It always is.

I'm posting kinda-sorta Wordless Wednesday style tonight, with lots of photos and just a few words.

Mornings at the beach.

Swim lessons.

Sitting by the pool with my little chick, watching these guys swim on Family Night.

Late evening field running.

And this girl. She's 3 months today!

Now, excuse me while I go gobble her cheeks.

Happy 4th of July tomorrow, friends. We do have SO much to celebrate, don't we?
