Simple Things//The Pumpkin Patch, Round One

Tonight we made an impromptu stop at the pumpkin patch, on the way home from delivering dinner to a friend. I can't quite explain it, but something about the mud, the open fields, the hundreds of unique pumpkins and the red wheelbarrows, makes my kids and I insanely happy. Personally, I don't think pumpkin season is long enough. One trip here just makes me want more. I think we'll try to come back let's say.... 10 times. Yes, at least 10 times would be good.
More pumpkin patch, please.

Tell me about your weekend. What's been the best part?
Angela

  1. Because you just stop and enjoy these kinds of moments with your kids you capture such beautiful pictures. (You also have a really good eye, but even a good eye doesn't do you any good if you don't stop.) I need to remind myself it's okay to stop, rather than head straight home. I'm such a head straight home kind of girl. I need to get us to a pumpkin patch too!

  15. I think there is simply something fun about pumpkins. I have never been to a pumpkin patch and think that would be fun.

Looks like you had a fun time with the kiddos.
