A Few Favorites

As I sat down to write this post, I uploaded pictures of baby chicks, tiny little plants and little signs of spring. Then I looked at my list of favorites for this week and these Birth Photos of the Year, were at the top of my list, along with the t-shirts that Kevin and Layla Palmer are selling to fund their adoption. These Friday Favorites are overflowing with life. It's just that time of year, I guess! If I'm not growing babies (thank goodness, I'm not!), then I'm happy to be growing chicks and plants. Chicks and plants are right where it's at right now.

Wrapping up the week with a big variety of favorites  that represent how beautiful life is. Favorites that celebrate adoption and the journey that it is, favorites from our week and favorites from around the internet.

These images, from Birth Photographer of the Year have left me speechless. No words. I'm in love with every single one of them. The International Association of Professional Birth Photographers is proud to announce the winners of their Image of the Year Competition. Go check them out here

This is Layla. She's married to Kevin (pictured below). To fund their adoption, they designed these t-shirts and they're selling them on their blog here. This couple is so amazing because after they designed these shirts and decided to sell them as a fund raiser, they prayed about it and they are choosing to share the proceeds with another family who is in the middle of their own adoption journey.
Every day they are getting closer to meeting their sweet Little P. I've loved following their journey and I think these shirts are super cute. I want one! Click here to order one of your own!
Last Sunday, I gathered with a group of Women for an IF:Table gathering. It was a really sweet time of visiting and eating together!
I signed up to bring a dessert so, I made this Lemon Semifreddo. Holy cow, yum!
A favorite quote from Bible study.
Courage is grown in the mundane, small pieces of our lives.
 Signs of spring!

Today's stack of library books. Who Likes the Sun, The Moon, Earth, Mercury, The Gingerbread Man, Trucks, Chicken Said "Cluck" and many, many more. I feel like this stack pretty much describes our family these days.
These cutie babies.
We love them. Thankfully, all 6 of them are doing really well so far and they seem to be getting used to us. I think they're realizing that they live in a home with 3 little people that are really expressive, crazy and fun.
