Scenes from the weekend:

A trail walk with my mom and the kids.
A dinner out with girlfriends to celebrate my sister's birthday.
A puzzle from the thrift store, done on a rainy Saturday afternoon with my boy.

Saturday night, a group of us went out to celebrate my sister's Birthday. Best sister, best friend right there. I know you might think that you have the best sister in the world, but I'm pretty sure that this girl takes the cake. She is like my right arm...and leg. She is everything to me!
There is no better friend than a sister, and there is no better sister than you.
I admit that I've stopped by the thrift store twice in the last week. It's a bit addicting to never know exactly what treasures you'll find in there. Saturday, I found this United States puzzle for only 50 cents and of course, couldn't pass it up! Also, I found a few gorgeous vintage milk glass vases and those are now happily sitting on my counter, full of daffodils.

Saturday afternoon, we sat together at the table and had the best time doing this puzzle. He's going through a puzzle phase and I just love it. We worked together on this one and this time with him blessed me so much. When we do little things like this together, it feels like right there in that moment, I'm doing exactly what I should be. Simple things like this are where it's at.

  1. Looks like a beautiful, mossy hike and a wonderful weekend! Considering all the states puzzles I did with my kids, you'd think they'd be better at knowing their map in grade school! Have a great week!

  2. Thanks for sharing snippets from your beautiful full of love and joy!!

  3. Love that picture of Eliza peeking out of the ergo!

Thank you for your comments. I read every single one of them and they always make me smile.
