At 15 months, she's walking and saying new words daily. Just being her Mama blesses my socks off. Her personality is like a bright light. She loves music, she loves her siblings, she loves when I push her on the swing and she loves getting muddy at the beach.
One thing I've been particularly loving about this girl is what a great friend she is and how important friends are to her. Wherever we go, she makes a new friend and enthusiastically, she'll run up to me and say "Mommy! I just made a new friend!" She doesn't see race differences or age differences. She just wants to hang out and have fun. She's my social girl and her favorite days are the ones packed with friends. Her heart is tender and I'm excited to see her thrive in preschool next year.
The freckles and the determination to count as high as he can. The tender heart and the way he cares about his sisters. The way he wiggles in between my husband and I when we hug. The way he loves to explore and the way he climbs everything, even though it makes me a bit crazy sometimes. 5 1/2 is an amazing age. I love, love, love it.
Our summer book club is going through Kisses from Katie. So far, it's so very, very good.
The Dirty Life is a book that caught my eye at Costco. I started it right there in the parking lot, while feeding my kids hotdogs. Something about this simple lifestyle is very fascinating to me and I'm loving this book.
The Blessing is a book that a gal at my MOPS table recommended to me. I've been reading through it slowly while I sit and feed Eliza. There's so much truth in this book and so much I need to work on. It's a real wake up call to how important it is to give our kids this unconditional blessing.

Right Now// Thankful For
Glory sunsets after the kids are in bed.
Beach days with friends.
Coffee and happy chickens that should (hopefully!) start laying this month. I put some golf balls in their nesting boxes. Think they'll get the hint or do you think they're just laughing at me and the golf balls?
Happy July friends! What are you thankful for right now?
