Thankful Lists/ A Link Up

Thankful Lists. Week 2
When I started this weekly Thankful List tradition last week, I was scared that no one would participate and that you'd all think I was crazy. So, a big thank you to those of you who joined in and shared what you're currently thankful for. Reading your posts was such a treat for me.

I'm the type of person who could easily live in way too much fear. When I intentionally focus on the good, it feels like I'm throwing a big stick in the face of fear and anxiety. Thankfulness creates joy and joy always wins.

All week I kept my camera out, capturing the things and people that I'm most thankful for. Unfortunately, my camera card was old and it bit the dust, with most of my "thankful" photos on it. So, I'm searching through my iPhone photos for this week's post. The good news is that I have a new camera card now and next week, I hope to better about taking non-phone photos.

•Right now I'm thankful for.... supportive friends and family. I shared with you all about our crazy Country House adventure and the support we've received has just about brought me to tears. I literally feel like I could burst with love for every person that has offered kind words of encouragement. Never underestimate the power of an encouraging word.

•Right now I'm thankful for....an extra long visit with this girl at bedtime tonight. Do you ever let bedtime take a little longer and just sit there and watch your kids? Tonight I parked myself on her floor and for about 10 minutes or so, she tried stuffing her tiny shoes onto my feet. I'm horrible about slowing down, but every time I do, I never regret it.

•Right now I'm thankful for....this eager helper. Here he is laying on top of the dryer, scooping the wet clothes out of the washing machine for me.
•Right now I'm thankful for....the way that all of our hens are laying! I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence, but as soon as we got rid of our rooster, the hens that hadn't been laying immediately started. We have 8 hens and today we got 7 eggs. Not bad for the dark, short days that we've been having! And no, we don't have a light in there. At this point, I'm just sticking with what seems most natural for them.
•Right now I'm thankful for....this moment in the kitchen with my girls. Paisley has always been right by my side when I cook and today Eliza pulled a stool over, climbed on up and joined in.

What are you thankful for right now? Share below, even if it's just a picture or two!
