Thankful Lists/A Link Up/ Vol. 3

Oh...you guys. I'm all about being honest and frankly, I forgot what day it was and it's quite possible that I  would've completely forgotten to write my Thankful List, if it wasn't for my friend Kristina reminding me. So, first of all....today I'm thankful for Kristina and for friends that keep me grounded, when life gets crazy!

Right Now.....
I'm thankful for kind people that smile at just the right time. I'm thankful for people who easily extend kindness and don't hold it back, like it's some rare commodity to only be given on special occasions.

I'm also thankful for the way that things continue to move forward with The Country House. We are still waiting to sell ours, but in the mean time, things continue to progress and we haven't hit any roadblocks yet. For progress and possibilities, I am thankful!

Right now, I'm thankful for chilly mornings, a warm house and sunshine. I'm thankful for kids that want to run outside right after breakfast and play in the frost.
I'm thankful for garden goodness, even in mid November.
I'm thankful for this kid and her determination.
I'm thankful for late start school days and morning crafts with my kids.

And for 10 minutes of alone time spent here.
Here's to gratitude and how it turns everything into enough.
Happy Thursday.
What have you been thankful for lately?

  1. If by "keep me grounded" you mean "stress me out because they put an extra thing on my to-do list" then yes. Yes I do. :) Love the stamped trees - just might be stealing them!!!

  2. No way! You don't stress me out. I seriously wanted to squeeze you this morning for reminding me! A good squeeze...haha! I read your post and your time away sounds so great. Every time I try to comment on your blog it doesn't show up...not sure what my problem is. I tried!

  3. I smiled to hear that the "country house" was still progressing. And I feel better about not getting a post done myself until this morning. Decided to do it even though it's Friday now :)

  4. I read your post and loved it. You have such a gift with words....No photos are needed. This next week, I'm going to try and be more intentional about jotting down what I'm thankful for throughout the week and try to take more photos. Hopefully it'll help me be more prepared with Thursday sneaks up! This week it sure caught me off guard!
