Today we cleaned the coop, which somehow turned into stringing plastic balls on ribbon, homemade wreaths made with clippings from our tree and stapling lights on with daddy's big stapler. Something about a decked out coop just makes me smile. I can't believe we almost didn't decorate it.
We started by pulling pine needles off branches that we had to cut from our tree in order to fit it into the stand.

Then the kids worked hard stringing plastic balls on ribbon.
And the chickens came over to take a looky-look and give their opinions.

A family activity you don't want to miss.
If you're local, you should definitely check out this walk-thru living nativity. We went tonight and our whole family just loved it. It's free and it only takes about 20-30 minutes. I'm not sure how long it'll be going on, but I know it's happening Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th, from 6-8pm. Definitely check it out.
